Album Notes & Community Reviews
Matt Johnson's fiercely political art-pop project tackles the looming dread of the Cold War and the cultural decay of Thatcherite Britain with biting, apocalyptic sarcasm. The incredibly dense, high-budget production merges synth-pop, post-punk, and orchestral arrangements into an anxious, deeply existential sonic landscape. 'Infected' is an angry, highly energetic, and profoundly cinematic protest album.
