Album Notes & Community Reviews

Heavily informed by the sudden death of close friend Ted Demme, Greg Dulli's post-Afghan Whigs project pivoted into profoundly dark, emotionally raw territory. The cinematic, R&B-inflected rock arrangements seethe with grief, nocturnal excess, and sweeping, dramatic tension.
