Album Notes & Community Reviews

Masterminded by Motown producer Norman Whitfield, this debut serves as a laboratory for his expansive, acid-rock influenced soul arrangements. The vocal trio delivers commanding performances over deeply rhythmic, fuzz-toned funk instrumentals, highlighted by their definitive version of 'Smiling Faces Sometimes'.
