Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Vapors' 'Magnets' followed the success of 'Turning Japanese' with a darker and more politically anxious set of new wave songs. The album's themes of surveillance, violence, and social tension gave the band a sharper edge than their novelty-hit reputation suggested.
