Album Notes & Community Reviews

Consistently adapting to shifting commercial trends, the instrumental guitar legends present a collection heavily indebted to easy listening and contemporary pop structures. 'The $1,000,000 Weekend' finds the group largely setting aside their reverb-drenched surf origins to tackle a slick, highly orchestrated set of easy-going, cocktail-hour instrumentals. It marks a clear, calculated pivot toward adult contemporary audiences.
