Album Notes & Community Reviews
Constructed as a sweeping, Lovecraftian conceptual narrative, 'Carpathia - A Dramatic Poem' is an intensely theatrical masterclass in gothic metal. The duo utilizes heavy, ominous guitar riffs augmented by sweeping orchestral symphonics to capture a nocturnal, horror-inspired atmosphere. It remains a legendary, highly cinematic achievement within the German dark metal underground.
