Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut of the duo of Empyrium's Markus Stock and Tobias Sch枚nemann, 'The Deathship Has a New Captain' assembles horror cinema as compositional method: 'Wolfmoon' invokes The Wolf Man, 'Metropolis' nods to Fritz Lang, and 'Elizabeth Dane' borrows the clipper's name from John Carpenter's The Fog. Subtitled '9 Songs of Death, Doom and Horror' and produced by Martin Koller, it also carries a guest vocal from Dame Pandora of Dark Sanctuary.
