Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by the eccentric genius Lee 'Scratch' Perry, this crucial album captures the legendary vocal trio transitioning definitively from rocksteady into the heavier, spiritually conscious roots reggae sound. Backed by the unmatched rhythm section of the Upsetters, the songs vibrate with political urgency and deep, hypnotic basslines. It stands as a pivotal stepping stone immediately prior to their massive international breakthrough.
