Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Wake's debut 'Harmony' blends post-punk rhythms with coldwave atmospherics on Factory Records. Carolyn Allen's haunting vocals float over sparse arrangements that create a sombre, introspective mood. The album captured the stark elegance characteristic of Manchester's post-punk underground.
