Biography
The Wake is a Scottish post-punk and indie pop band from Glasgow, formed in 1981 by Gerard 'Caesar' McInulty and centred since on McInulty and keyboardist Carolyn Allen. Signed to #Factory Records# after a self-released debut single, they made 'Harmony' in 1982 and the beloved 'Here Comes Everybody' in 1985, then recorded for #Sarah Records# in the 1990s. Re-formed in 2009, the duo released 'A Light Far Out' in 2012.
