Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reacting violently to the contemporary political climate, the long-running Seattle ensemble eschews the lush string arrangements of their previous albums for a raw, aggressive return to electric roots. The intensely dark record pairs driving, distortion-heavy alternative rock with Chris Eckman's incredibly cynical, politically charged lyricism.
