Ignorance

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Pivoting away from the guitar-based folk of her earlier material, Tamara Lindeman embraced slick, rhythm-driven sophisti-pop for the project's fifth album. Driven by propulsive basslines and elegant woodwinds, the record utilizes metaphors of broken relationships to explore the overwhelming dread and paralysis of the modern climate crisis. It was universally acclaimed for its sophisticated arrangements and poignant ecological anxieties.
