Biography
The Weather Station is the project of Toronto singer-songwriter Tamara Lindeman, begun in 2006. Accompanied by rotating collaborators rather than a fixed band, she moved from intimate folk on 'All of It Was Mine' and 'Loyalty' to the expansive art-rock and jazz-inflected arrangements of 'Ignorance' (2021), her acclaimed meditation on the climate crisis. With 'How Is It That I Should Look at the Stars' (2022) and 'Humanhood' (2025), Lindeman's precise, observant writing has drawn comparisons with *Joni Mitchell*, confirming her as one of Canada's most respected songwriters.
