Album Notes & Community Reviews
Originally pressed in a highly limited run, 'Volume One' captures the embryonic, erratic genius of The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band. The album is a dizzying, low-fidelity collision of jangly folk-rock covers and bizarre, noisy psychedelic freak-outs. It documents the raw, unpolished beginnings of one of the 1960s' most eccentric and notoriously mysterious musical collectives.
