Album Notes & Community Reviews

Embracing the prevailing Manchester dance-rock trends, the enigmatic 4AD stalwarts injected their gloomy post-punk foundation with heavy sampling and funk-driven beats. 'Queer' stands out in their discography for its bizarre, upbeat accessibility, most notably on the infectious, Tom Jones-sampling single 'A Girl Like You'.
