Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking their first full-length release in over two decades, 'Vessel' represents the return of Massachusetts outfit There Were Wires. The album was recorded and self-produced by the band over a 20-month period in a home studio, before being mixed by Kurt Ballou at God City Studio and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege. Moving away from the pure adrenaline of their early work, the record balances caustic post-hardcore and sludge metal intensity with atmospheric restraint to explore themes of grief, fear, and persistence.
