Album Notes & Community Reviews

Constructed as a highly ambitious concept album exploring Norse mythology, each track is dedicated to one of the nine realms connected by the World Tree, Yggdrasil. Mastermind Christofer Johnsson employs sweeping, multi-layered classical choirs and operatic vocalists alongside crushing, progressive heavy metal riffage. It stands as one of the band's most cohesive and thoroughly researched integrations of pagan spirituality and symphonic metal.
