Album Notes & Community Reviews

Functioning essentially as a solo studio project for mastermind Christofer Johnsson backed by session musicians and a full choir, 'Vovin' is a landmark achievement in symphonic metal. The album dramatically dials back the aggressive death metal elements in favor of sweeping, operatic grandiosity and profoundly occult-driven atmospheres.
