Album Notes & Community Reviews

Abandoning the triumphant crescendos of their earlier work, 'Tunnel Blanket' plunges headfirst into crushing, desolate drone and dark ambient soundscapes. The album moves at an incredibly slow, glacial pace, utilizing massive walls of doom-laden guitar distortion, subterranean bass, and funereal tempos. It is an oppressively heavy, cinematic post-rock record that completely envelops the listener in an atmosphere of profound grief.
