La barca

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The pioneering German sound artist constructs a deeply immersive auditory voyage built primarily from extensive, global field recordings and profound sub-bass drones. Rather than focusing on icy Arctic isolation like his earlier work, the album explores diverse environments, ranging from desolate urban spaces to haunting natural settings. It is a masterful, highly detailed exercise in cinematic dark ambient storytelling.
