Album Notes & Community Reviews

On their sophomore album, 'The Illusion of Safety', Thrice refined their sound into a more technical and emotionally complex form of post-hardcore. The record blends aggressive energy and heavy, melodic metalcore-influenced riffs with poetic, introspective lyrics, establishing it as a landmark release in the early 2000s emo and screamo scenes.
