Thrice

Thrice is an American rock band from Irvine, California, known for its dynamic sonic evolution and steadfast lineup. Formed in 1998, the quartet began with a melodic hardcore and post-hardcore sound, exemplified on early albums like 'The Illusion of Safety'. They achieved wider recognition with 'The Artist in the Ambulance' before venturing into more experimental territory with 'Vheissu', which incorporated keyboards and electronic elements. A landmark project, 'The Alchemy Index', saw the band explore disparate styles across four EPs themed around the classical elements. After a hiatus, Thrice returned, continuing to release critically acclaimed music that blends their heavy roots with art rock and alternative sensibilities.
