Album Notes & Community Reviews
Hiding intensely subversive, deeply misanthropic industrial noise behind an ironically benign title and lounge-lizard album cover, Throbbing Gristle delivered a brilliantly terrifying masterpiece. '20 Jazz Funk Greats' perfectly melds remarkably cold, mechanical drum machines with deadpan, highly anxious lyricism, fundamentally shaping the future of dark electronic music.
