Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded live in a studio setting with a small invited audience, 'Heathen Earth' is an absolutely terrifying, largely improvised document of industrial music's founding pioneers. Throbbing Gristle sculpts an incredibly dense, profoundly misanthropic soundscape using distorted tape machines and screaming cornet, offering a deeply atmospheric, intensely ominous, and mechanically abrasive masterpiece.
