Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded immediately following his release from a highly publicized federal prison sentence, the Atlanta rap icon's eighth studio album is notably sprawling and heavily introspective. The project balances enormous, radio-friendly pop-rap collaborations featuring artists like P!nk and Lil Wayne with dark, aggressive trap production that reflects on his legal struggles and personal contradictions. It functioned as a significant, highly successful commercial comeback for the southern hip-hop pioneer.
