Album Notes & Community Reviews

The tenth studio album from the highly influential Swedish group finds them diving deeper into the murky, romanticized aesthetics of classic 1980s gothic rock. Johan Edlund's deep, melancholic croon anchors compositions heavily reliant on shimmering chorus pedals, driving post-punk basslines, and distinctly brooding atmospheres. It represents a far cry from their early extreme metal origins, fully embracing a slick, deeply nostalgic alternative darkness.
