Album Notes & Community Reviews
A deeply personal concept album created solely by bandleader Eve Beeker, 'I Am a Spiritual Being Having a Human Experience' explores themes of trauma, spirituality, and healing through a sound that merges cathartic screamo and atmospheric post-rock. The album is structured around the lyrical metaphor of the "black triangle"—a symbol of psychological distress derived from Beeker's personal experiences—and is notable for its dynamic shifts between intense, visceral performances and ambient soundscapes. Its centerpiece is a sprawling, hour-long composition that fully realizes the album's introspective and emotionally raw narrative.
