Album Notes & Community Reviews

Tom Waits' first studio album of new material in seven years is a concise, varied tour through his signature styles. From stomping blues-rock to tender ballads, Waits' gravelly voice is in fine form, backed by a tight band including Keith Richards. It captures the energy and eccentricity of a legend who refuses to mellow with age.
