Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded during a period of immense political tension and martial law in Poland, the brilliant trumpeter assembled a formidable quartet featuring S艂awomir Kulpowicz on piano. 'Music 81' blends the structural elegance of modal jazz with the fiery, unpredictable energy of the European avant-garde. The deeply emotive performances cemented Sta艅ko's reputation as a vital, uncompromising voice in modern European jazz.
