Album Notes & Community Reviews
A landmark of European free jazz and a tribute to the recently deceased composer Krzysztof Komeda (the 'K' of the title). The album is a powerful and emotional work, showcasing Sta艅ko's fiery, expressive trumpet playing and the incredible chemistry of his quintet. It's a key document of the Polish jazz scene, moving from mournful laments to cathartic, high-energy free improvisation.
