Biography
Polish jazz violinist from Krak贸w who translated *John Coltrane*'s language to the violin. After rising in *Tomasz Sta艅ko*'s quintet, he led the fusion landmark 'Man of the Light' (1976) for #MPS Records#, but died of cancer in 1979, aged thirty-two, just as his international career began. An international jazz violin competition now bears his name, and his MPS records are fusion classics.
