Album Notes & Community Reviews
This sprawling double album from German rock radicals Ton Steine Scherben marks a bittersweet shift from their earlier militant protest songs toward more personal, poetic reflections. While still rooted in rebellious proto-punk and blues rock, the record intimately explores urban alienation and the complex emotional fallout of the 1970s leftist movement.
