Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conceived as an original score for the 100th anniversary of Robert Wiene's silent horror masterpiece, the record reinterprets the film's expressionist visuals through long-form post-rock crescendos. The production utilizes high-contrast dynamics and repetitive melodic motifs to mirror the psychological tension and distorted architecture of the source material. It represents a significant stylistic move toward purely narrative-driven soundscapes, prioritizing mood over traditional rock structures.
