Toundra

Biography

Toundra is an instrumental post-rock and post-metal band formed in Madrid, Spain, in 2007. Known for their expansive, dynamic soundscapes that blend atmospheric textures with heavy, progressive riffs, the group has become a leading force in the European instrumental scene. Drawing comparisons to acts like *Isis*, *Mogwai*, and *Russian Circles*, Toundra crafts powerful narratives through music alone. Their numbered album series, particularly 'II', 'III', and 'IV', garnered widespread acclaim, with 'IV' charting at number 2 in Spain. They have released albums on labels including #Aloud Music#, #Superball Music#, and #InsideOut Music#, and also collaborated with flamenco singer *Niño de Elche* on the project *Exquirla*.
