Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally intended as Steve Winwood's solo debut, the project morphed into a triumphant reunion of the beloved British ensemble. 'John Barleycorn Must Die' is a wonderfully warm, fiercely eclectic progressive rock classic, balancing beautifully pastoral English folklore with intensely rhythmic, highly melodic jazz-rock improvisations.
