Biography
Traffic were an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1967 by Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi, Chris Wood and Dave Mason. Blending psychedelic rock, soul, folk and jazz, they made their name with 'Mr. Fantasy' and 'John Barleycorn Must Die', then found their biggest American success with 'The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys' in 1971. The original run ended in 1974, and Winwood and Capaldi briefly revived the band in 1994 for one more album.
