Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recruiting the Muscle Shoals rhythm section of David Hood and Roger Hawkins, the veteran British outfit shifted toward a more polished, groove-oriented sound. Despite the tighter arrangements, Steve Winwood and Jim Capaldi retained their penchant for extended, jazz-inflected jamming and melancholic, pastoral song structures.
