Album Notes & Community Reviews
Ending an eight-year drought, the venerable Norwegian trio reaffirms their complete dedication to the unholy, frostbitten hostility of 1990s second-wave black metal. 'Helvegr' is a masterclass in pure, unadulterated Satanic aggression, launching a relentless assault of freezing, infernal tremolo riffs and agonizing vocal performances.
