Album Notes & Community Reviews

Arriving after the initial second-wave explosion had fractured into various experimental subgenres, this Norwegian trio delivers an unapologetically orthodox black metal debut. 'Kill for Satan' is entirely devoid of atmospheric keyboards or symphonic elements, relying purely on hyper-fast tremolo picking and relentless blast beats. The album is revered for its stubbornly regressive, aggressively satanic traditionalism.
