Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'Guardian', TURQUOISEDEATH expands on previous breakcore and jungle foundations by weaving in elements of atmospheric drum and bass, progressive house, and trance. The album's production features monumental soundscapes, with glistening synth backdrops juxtaposed against pummeling drum patterns to create a sound that is both beautiful and chaotic. The songwriting is ambitious, shifting constantly through different movements and culminating in a 30-minute closing track that journeys through downtempo, d'n'b, and drumless sections.
