Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut from the San Francisco guitar-and-drum duo pairs raw, aggressive folk-punk energy with complex, narrative-driven songwriting. 'The Throes' relies heavily on fingerpicked guitar dynamics and distinctly raspy vocals, creating a fiery, pastoral approach to alternative country and acoustic roots music.
