Album Notes & Community Reviews
For their second full-length, the Chicago deconstructionists enlisted Jim O'Rourke for production duties, capturing their jagged, stuttering noise-rock with startling clarity. The record violently dismantles traditional blues-rock structures, relying on microtonal guitar squeals, arrhythmic drumming, and Al Johnson's breathless, cryptic vocal wheezes.
