Album Notes & Community Reviews

The long-delayed sophomore album from the Bronx collective finds Kool Keith and Ced Gee pushing their eccentric lyricism over darker, jazz-inflected boom-bap beats. Despite a slightly more streamlined production style than their debut, the group's abstract wordplay and surreal battle raps remain wildly unorthodox for the 1993 hip-hop landscape.
