Biography
Ultramagnetic MCs are a Bronx hip hop group formed in 1984 by Kool Keith with Ced-Gee, TR Love and Moe Love. Singles such as 'Ego Trippin'' and their debut album 'Critical Beatdown' (1988) pioneered Ced-Gee's chopped sampling and the group's dense, surreal, science-obsessed rhymes. 'Funk Your Head Up' (1992) and 'The Four Horsemen' (1993) followed, and the group returned in 2007 with 'The Best Kept Secret'. They remain a foundational influence on underground and alternative hip hop.
