Album Notes & Community Reviews

The New York noise rock trio fully harnessed their aggressively abrasive, sludge-heavy sound on their highly influential sophomore effort. Driven by the unexpected MTV success of the skateboard-crashing music video for 'Scrape', the band reached a significantly wider alternative audience. The incredibly dense, unrelenting rhythmic pummeling cemented their reputation as premier architects of 1990s urban post-hardcore.
