Biography
Unsane is a noise rock trio from New York City, formed in 1988 by Chris Spencer, Pete Shore and Charlie Ondras. Blending hardcore punk, metal and abrasive noise, the band built a cult following with albums such as 'Total Destruction', 'Scattered, Smothered and Covered' and 'Occupational Hazard'. After Ondras died in 1992, drummer Vinnie Signorelli and, from 1994, bassist Dave Curran completed the best known lineup, which recorded until 2019. Spencer relaunched the band in 2021 with Eric Cooper and Jon Syverson, touring the early catalogue and reissuing it on #Lamb Unlimited#.
