Swing to the Right

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as a direct, scathing indictment of the Reagan era and the rise of the Moral Majority, Todd Rundgren's ensemble delivered their most politically overtly record. 'Swing to the Right' wraps biting, cynical social commentary within an exceptionally slick, hook-laden fusion of new wave and progressive power pop. The album notably marked the band's bitter departure from their longtime label Bearsville Records.
