Album Notes & Community Reviews
Mixing African guitar rhythms with Ivy League preppiness, Vampire Weekend's self-titled debut was a polarizing but undeniable sensation. The songs are short, catchy, and hyper-literate, with string arrangements and harpsichords. It is a sunny, energetic burst of indie pop.
