Album Notes & Community Reviews
Continuing their triumphant mid-70s reunion, Van der Graaf Generator delivered one of their most emotionally devastating and intellectually dense statements. 'Still Life' is an incredibly complex, highly poetic progressive rock album characterized by Peter Hammill's intensely philosophical, deeply existential lyricism and a profoundly dark, depressively epic sonic atmosphere.
