Possessed

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the final studio album to feature the classic, original trio lineup, this release continued the band's pioneering assault of blasphemous, primitive noise. 'Possessed' suffers from notoriously muddy, uneven production, yet retains the chaotic, punk-infused speed metal riffing that deeply influenced the extreme metal underground. Despite a perceived decline in songwriting quality from their seminal early work, it remains a vital document of first-wave black metal.
